Horror Stories/Films

Typical settings for horror stories are dark desolate places in the middle of nowhere. They are set in these places to signify that no one should be there and that no one is there to help.
Typical characters are either a small, young female dressed vulnerably as a victim or a tall, strong man/thing for a killer sort of character.
Typical plots for a horror story are either a dark night where no one is around and the victim can hear things around them or mysterious things start happening in a house and then they find out their house is haunted.
